Re: fisher marine boats

I believe they were gobbled up by Brunswick/Bayliner and became Spectrum.

Not sure, but I believe the Blue Fin became the Spectrum.
Brunswich bought up Blue Fin and Fisher about 10-14? years ago.
The Blue fin, Fisher, Spectrum grew into one line.

Brunswich sold Fisher to a division of Tracker a few years ago, otherwise known as themarinegroup dot com

Re: fisher marine boats

I own a Fisher 18" and yes they were absorbed by Tracker. Construction quality after the take over went down some since they now use more wood.

As for your question "what happen to the people who built the fisher marine " I really don't know about the people!

I also own a '95 fisher that is wood free. So I know they were probably in business until '95.

They claim they have now gone back to aluminum floors, according to the website.
