Several months ago I bought a smoking deal on a Sea Ray 180 for my son an I to fix up. Was described to have had a head gasket leak and ended up being a flooded motor that was run and resulted in a rod knock. Anyways a few nights and weekends later and several searches and post on here I took my son out on it for the first time last weekend and was well worth the work.

Still have a few minor things to work out like the trim/tilt sensor, fuel level and it stumbles/bogs a bit from about 1500-2100rpm if run up slow.

I have appreciated the help.

Congratulations. It's a great way to spend some good family time, and you're off to a great start.

Enjoy.
