I am with Silvertip on this one, as soon as it is tolerable shoes are off and nothing beats carpet.

Ya it holds a bit of water and Is harder to clean but for comfort you can't do better.

Also easier to wrap around corners, a lot of storage doors on my boat.

In the end no matter what anyone says it is what you want in your boat, if a thousand people told me it was dumb to put carpet in a boat there would be carpet in my boat because that is what I want.

And that about sums it up! I am pro carpet as well having it in a few boats and never ever having any issues with it. It didn't hold water and it never gave me any problem cleaning it either. But I have to admit, I stored all my boats in a garage and took very good care of them. Even when I sold my boats, They looked like showroom conditions and never had any issues selling any of them. google the kiwi, a few tried it, and it failed.

Awlgrip if done correctly will work, however its effectively sand and paint.

for tuffgrip, are you referring to the spray on urea product or the paint (multiple products with the same name)
