welcome aboard

YOU DONT HAVE TO SHOUT

it is actually quite rude

you wont find a user manual for the boat. only 1 or two manufacturers at all make a manual, the other 99.9999% of them offer a safety brochure with the list of servicing dealers

you can find manuals from your drive if you have a volvo or mercruiser

volvo manuals https://www.volvopenta.com/marineleisure/en-en/for-owners/your-engine/manuals---handbooks.html
Mercruiser manuals https://publications.brunswick.com/

if you have an OMC drive, you can still get a manual, however there is minimal parts support because the company went bankrupt more than two decades ago.

https://www.outboardbooks.com/

you can view many of the manuals on-line. links in the stickies.

Why do you think you should have a water tank? Does it have a sink, toilet or other?

The 272 Crowne was a 27' express cruiser. It'll have a galley sink, a head sink and a stand-up shower. There's a water tank in there somewhere. The OP has to keep looking. In the engine bay, under the dinette seats, under the v-berth. There has to be access somewhere to get at the fresh water pump.

That's good info, in that case it could be besides the fuel tank under the deck like it is in my 27PC. Needs to look for the fill cap and follow the hose.
