What size motor?

I have a 1995 Key West Sportsman 1900. I am trying to find out what the max size motor I can put on it. I am looking at a 175hp Evinrude. Will that be too large?

A 1995 should have a USCG plate w max capacity, max HP and max weight....

all of the model 1900s in that list have a 150hp max

The rating should be on that plate and/or the website above. It's going to be close.

Probably would be cutting it close, if not, over. I'd go somewhere around 135-150, but you would have to check the max capacity plate.
