I just bought 1860 alweld transom is made for a 225 jet drive so I welded a bracket to drop it to where I want the motor and am going to bolt a hydraulic jack plate to it and put my 75 Suzuki I rebuilt on it was wondering if I am going to be ok on the weight since it did have a 225 hp motor on it or if anyone had a better ideas thanks

Your pic is too small to see what you're working on but if the transom was designed for an inboard jet rated at 225 HP it's probably strong enough to handle a 75 HP OB motor. With jackplates most the stress can occur when trailering so be sure to have some support for the motor with a transom saver.
