I have a few spots on my hull were it looks like someone used rubbing compound to remove something. The result is a dull area with swirl marks were you can see they rubbed. Anything I can do to revitalize it?

Believe it or not take Maguire's rubbing compound to it, a high RPM buffer, a pneumatic driven buffer, glass or Aluminum, doesn't mater. Then finish it in Maguire's wax.. Do a small spot first. It may not have been a proper rubbing compound they used.

Polishing compound on the area and surrounding area to blend in with the hull..Follow it up with polish until it looks like the rest of the hull.Wax if needed.
