12V Trolling motor brushes

I have an Mercury Marine 12 electric<br />trolling motor in need of a replacement set<br />of brushes. I can't seem to find them any-<br />where locally. Mercury lists the part as<br />NLA (No Longer Available). Any suggestions?<br /><br />Mercury SerNo:0A259310 (PartNo: 88161A)<br /><br />Thanks in advance. -David

TAKE YOUR MOTOR AND BRUSHES TO AN ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR SHOP AND THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.

Call me stupid but I'm new to electric trolling motors what are these brushes your talking about i just bought a Minn Kota 12V 30lbs thrust trolling motor will i have to replace these later down the road?<br /><br />------------------<br />------------------------ 9((=< Canuck friends of fisherman everywhere!!
