Scottys Bait Board with Gear Head Extender.

I picked up this bait board on sale and got it installed today. The install went fine for the most part, but I did find the extender a bit odd as you will see in the video. I believe this was originally designed for kayaks, but works great on smaller boats like mine. I've even heard of some people using them along side with bigger, built in, bait boards on larger boats to hold cut bait, etc. Hope you enjoy the video.

Great video, thanks for sharing. For me and I think most others the play or movement in the actually bait board would make it useless. It would be a real hassle cutting bait on something with that much movement. Also make it east to cut yourself.

Ya well see how it goes. I was using my bait cooler sitting on the floor to cut bait. Hopefully this works better. I’m pretty sure I can eliminate most of that slop (a lil electrical tape on the shaft). Maybe I’ll tinker around with that soon....
