Greetings all. This is new (to me). Oil is blowing out of the exhaust relief port on our 1992 6hp Yamaha kicker. Not a little; lots. If I hold my
finger in front of the port it's immediately covered in black. Carbon? Maybe, but nah, looks & feels like oil; it's wet. Drips down the back of the engine as might be
imagined. Otherwise, it runs just fine, nothing seems out of order. Use a 100:1 ratio as recommended w/Evinrude/Johnson XD30; good stuff. What might decarbing do in a situation like this? Anyone seen anything of the sort? Suggestions?
Thanks kindly...
