So guys I am looking at a sweet boat that has a pair of Zuke DT 225 the hours are around 800 but one of the lower units is cracked. I plan to take this boat offshore up to 80 miles and a new lower unit is a must. So from the Suzuki owners whats your thoughts on this motor, how easy is it to get parts, can I buy a new or rebuilt lower unit. Looking online it seemed a little uncertain so I wanted to see if anyone had any first hand thoughts on these motors.
