I have a 2000 Yamaha 225 hp ox66 alarm going off at low speed after I come in. It tends to go off after idling around at low speed and, I guess its the heat alarm. It started doing this about two months ago. I can run it wide open and at any other speed with no problem, it wants to to go off after I have been idling for more than a minute or two, and then won't go off until I take it off the trailer the next time out. I had a new power head installed last year. I went ahead and replaced the water pump, both thermostats, and the poppet spring assembly. Nothing has changed, still does it. Motor seems to run fine, its on a 22FT CHARGER BASS BOAT, and will go about 65 mph. Anybody out there got any ideal what is causing this, thanks
