Just picked up a new to me boat and wanting to add a fuel flow gauge/meter. What are my options for something that is cost effective? Is there something that can be added plug and play to the existing brains of the motor or do I need to add and inline meter?

Thanks,
Mike

What do you consider cost effective? To one man it is a hundred bucks. Or less. To another man it is a thousand bucks. Or more.

With your model you can use a non-Yamaha fuel flow meter (Floscan), a Yam conventional fuel management meter or a Yamaha Command Link fuel flow meter in either round or square styles. Square has more functionality.

Command Link is calculated fuel flow based on engine data. Other types use sensor to actually measure the flow of fuel through the hose.

Yam types are shown in their rigging book.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'd like to be in the $200-$300 range.

Hey joe, thanks for that. How has it worked, I have heard that inline fuel flow sensors don't work very well with the fuel injected engines.
