2011 Yamaha 15 hp - Tiller handle to steering wheel conversion

Hi,

I have a new Yamaha F15SMHA and I'm wanting to put in a center console. Is there a kit or parts that will fit this motor that convert it to wheel steering?

that conversion would be uncommon on a motor that size. However many motors use the same basic frame. you may find that the parts from a 25 may fit.

I think that on that motor there is a hole in the front lift handle for the steering arm to bolt to. You could find someone with a slightly larger motor and look at theirs.

you would need to clamp the shift cable to the side of the motor and the throttle cable needs to go into the cowl and clamp to the block and attach to the throttle.

You might call Carolina Skiff, they sell more small center consoles than anyone.

Yea I believe the F20 is the same base and controls as the F15, I've seen pictures online of the F20 with steering controls but can't find out any info on it.
