Hi all,

Was wondering if any one out there has experience installing a 2 strokes, Yamaha 60 HP long shaft on a rib. Plan placing a central console NFS T-11 Telefelx system, at the end of the cable there's a metal shaft: Have 2 options, buy a clevis kit (pic 1) or transom support kit (pic 2) that also includes the clevis kit as in pic 1.

1-The tramson support kit includes :Teleflex Outboard Clamp Block, Support Tube, and the Clevis Kit. Bolts to the inside of your transom and provides an anchoring point for the steering cable.

2-Does this model still uses the L link arm kit (pic 3) ? no more, uses the support tube ? (pic 2)

3-Which kit model will be needed to secure cable shaft to engine 1 or 2 ?

Look at pictures to see parts:

Thanks in advance for any usefull tech information.

do you have enough splashwell, sponson clearence to run the teleflex cable through the steering tube? if so use the drag link kit on the far right.
if not you will need the support and clevis kit in the center.
sometimes you have to run the steering cable through the tilt tube before installing the engine to the transom.

Hi Rodbolt, the rib it's on it's way inside a container, cannot know about tube to engine distances, should I better contact the manufacturer for a proper tech answer ? The rib has 210 meter wide with 0.52 mt tubes.
