Hi
I live in Brazil and I use a Yamaha F15AMHS outboard, purchased in Nov 2004, model 2005.
Brazilian fuel is a mixture of gazoline, ethanol and many other odd substances, including chit.
This horrible mixture corroded my carburetor and the fuel pump in a question of months, causing erratic function of the motor. Is there a brand of carburetor I could use with this fuel?

Re: Carburetor corrosion

I have always heard the there are a lot of Buba's in the south but did not realize they were that far south.

I think you are out of luck with finding a different type of carb for your fuel, but I could be wrong.

From what I understand these motors are not designed to run on that type of fuel, see if you can find fuel that is 10 or less percent ethanol.
