Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to know how do I clean the fuel injector filters / screens. Motor type is Yamaha 0X66 year 2000 150HP. Can someone point me to where there is a photo or pictures that would help with this anywhere? I read SELOC manual and that is really no help at all. Just wondering if anyone has any other info on how to clean the screens or the injector itself.

Cause. Seen this post and read all of them. Motor dips in RPM when going over wakes or waves. The motor runs at 3000 RPM hits a wake or wave and goes down to 2200 RPM. After reading all the posts it seems like a filter or screen cleaning is needed. I also don't think that cylinder 5 is bad.:D

Please let me know fishing season is coming to a close and my brother and I are dying to get out there but this has been a problem for a while and we have tried everything but cleaning the fuel injectors.

thanks for the help.

Re: Fuel Injector filters Yamaha 0X66 150HP

what have you done so far? what is the exact model number.
are you getting any audible/alarms?

Things that come to mind are:
fuel vent, pickup, anti-siphon, water seps, primer bulb, fuel pumps, vst filter, fuel regulator screen. are your battery connections tight?

don't think you're fuel injector screens will act up when hitting a wave.
