2.5 HP Yamaha outboard

I have a 2.5 hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard that I just bought but I have no operators manual. I would like to know what RPMs it should idle at?

After doing a lot of searching I found a PDF on the 2.5 Yamaha. It says to set the idle speed at 1900 +or- 100 r/min in neutral. Can you imagine putting this in gear at almost 2000 RPM. Or is this some kind of metric reading?
