85hp 1982 Suzuki dies on throttle up

I'm back with a slight problem. Boat idles ok and I can adjust it to run on idle. It's a little high, but it'll run. Problem is, when I try to throttle up it dies. Unless I choke it a few times while in gear and giving gas. Then it will take off. Acts like it's bogging down when throttling up. Runs great once it gets going though. But every time I throttle down it dies and I have to go through the routine again. Any ideas.....?

carbs needs a sync ....

Any other suggestions. Carbs are synced and fine. Won't even idle. Maybe the linkages need to be set but I don't have a guide as to how. Help...?
