I have a yamaha 30hp 2 stroke. from early 90's I believe. twin cylinder model.
I come to my boat and the cables have seized. With a little wiggling the throttle one frees up. The gear change one does not and as I push harder, the little bracket that holds the outer casing of the gear change cable snaps.
This has broken quite far along so I can't just get a new little bracket as it is past the bit where is bolts on, I think i may have snapped part of the frame itself.
Any ideas on what I can do?
picture: pink line is where its snapped. red metal is different from black. the white circle is a small bolt. The funny upside down "u" things are the bits that hold the outer casing of the cable.
