I have had posts on here before about this motor. Was only firing on 3 cylinders , disconnected low oil warning module, solved that problem. noticed that I'm now getting high voltage - so my battery is going to be smoked before long. Mechanic disconnected two connectors inside CDI box. He said that both had to be disconnected in order to get engine low oil warning module out of CDI unit loop so all cyl would fire. I remember when I first got this motor that only one was disconnected, and I'm wondering if he disconnected the rectifier when he disconnected the second connector. Any ideas whether I'm on right track or is the rectifier just gone bad?
