2002 25hp 4 stoke Suzuki water pump issue

My motor stopped spitting water and I think I need to install a new impeller.I had a Johnson ,just wondering if its the same procedure. Any info on how to proceed would be appreciated. THanks , Bruce

Suzuki impellers are generally good for a long time (some cases, 10 years). Are you sure the "pee hole" doesn't have a chunk of salt or sand in it?

Grid, you were right ,the hole was clogged, back on the water! I had a Johnson and changed the impeller after 13 yrs. ,just because I thought it was time.. took the thing out and it looked just like the new one I was getting ready to put in... I put the new one in anyway
