Good morning. I plan to winterize this motor myself for the first time since buying it new in 2003 so I want to make sure I don't miss anything and was hoping someone can help me out. I have run fuel with stabilizer through the engine for 10 minutes or so and drained the gear oil. I am going to buy new gear oil today to fill it back up (SAE90?). I have fogging oil, but am unsure of the best way to get that into the cylinders...through the carb, or remove the plugs and spray it in there?

Also I am concerned all the water is not out of the motor....I blew compressed air through the main line where I usually attach my hose when running it out of water...will that be enough?

Thanks again and I appreciate any suggestions

TTT

I'm wondering the same thing, I know it's a little late, but the motor has been in a heated building, and now has to go outside

Sounds like you have done everything needed, maybe change the engine oil while you are at it.
