Lower unit fill/drain plug gaskets

Changing lower gear lube in my 2000 200hp saltwater series for the 1st time.I have mercruiser gaskets of several composites , evinrude/johnson gaskets in both plastic and rubber , but never got any Yammy gaskets.im ready to use what i have unless someone with factual reasons why i should get Yammi gaskets chimes in. Not lookin for opinions here,just facts.Thaks and sorry for being so frank..Charlie

Most lube pumps come with an adapter for Yamaha plugs. So the threads are different - The gasket, no idea.

Pull the vent plug and see if any of your stock of gaskets fit. I'm being Frank, Charlie. :D

evinrude and mercruiser gaskets fit the fill/drain plug .Im gonna use what I have ,especially since most businesses by me are closed.Charlie

BTW I may not have been perfectly clear .What i am referring to is the gaskets for the drain and fill plugs .

If the outer gasket diam, middle hole diam and material are same, why not use what you already have...
