Suzuki DF 60 Check Engine Code 2-2

2006 Suzuki 4 stroke Check Engine light flashing 2 flashes, pause, then 2 flashes. Does anybody know what this means?

2_2 should mean "air intake system". The condition for that is:

"During the ECM’s receiving input of the complete close signal from the throttle position sensor, the engine operates at an abnormally high speed. (Criterion: 2 500 r/min MIN)"

So I would say that's either an air intake leak, a bad IAC, or a bad throttle position sensor.

Look up a suzuki service manual from manualslib.com, and you should find the table showing flash pattern meanings.

Pay no attention to the above post as it is completely wrong. If you want to diagnose it yourself, you will need to purchase a FACTORY service manual and the $330 test harness, or throw some expensive parts at it, or just bring it to a reputable Suzuki Authorized dealer.
