‘01 Yam F25+703 cntrl +dwell/tach?

Hi all,
I want to check prop/wot this week. Can I use my old dwell/tach by connecting the black to 703 black and red to 703 green?
If no, do you have a test tach suggestion I could pick up at an auto parts store?

Get an induction tach like a Tiny Tach or any asian knock-off at an auto parts store.
