my friend hit a stump ,broke a tooth on the forward gear.2006 75 four stroke.I rebuilt the foot.In the vise it shifts into all gears.When we try to install it on the powerhead it will not bolt up unless the shifter is in reverse.At this point the gearcase is in neutral ,the throttle at the helm is in reverse.Push the throttle forward all the way and it is in forward .It only has neutral and forward when shifting at the helm.It shifts into all gears when not hooked up to helm shifter help
