94 Suzuki dt 115, no compression #3 cylinder what could be wrong? Fix? Worth fixing? I am new to this.

Pull the cylinder head off.----Could be a blown head gasket.-----If piston is done you can repair yourself.----Cost prohibitive if a shop has to do the work for you.

Blown gasket, broken rings or hole in the piston.

As noted, head needs to be removed to determine the extent of the damage. Could be much worse than just a gasket, piston or rings. Collateral damage.

Also as noted, to pay for a repair is going to cost much more than the motor is worth.

Use a bore scope to look in spark plug hole....if it's a hole in piston crown you'll able to see it and then move forward accordingly. If the motor is ruined then maybe consider locating another motor very similar in model and year that is running, buy it and use this old motor for parts....A parts motor can be a great thing for your future out boarding needs...

Thank you for the replies. It's on a boat I was looking to trade for. As I get further along I will be asking more questions.
