08 150 txr 4 stroke 525 hrs
500 hr maintenance completed
ok here is what happens
run 25 min to fishing spot
after 20 min or so try to start it just cranks
move throttle it starts runs rough
clear it out with increasing rpm.
then it runs ok most of time plenty power 5,500 rpm
twice this happened after no start and getting it running put in gear fast got on plane ok then then ten sec later it shuts down stalls .no beebs warnings
once I checked bulb kinda soft
so far replaced lines and bulb.
removed injectors tested ok and cleaned
starts faster now
but still had no start hot
last time I checked bulb was hard
took cover off to check fuel rail preasure.tried to start it before testing and it started and idled fine
question what sensors or system will disable engine to not start
oil and temp should have a audible warning
do they test out key on my boat doesn't
cant get a code test for a week and half.
can a isc valve do this ?
a bad temp sensor?
Sorry for long post
thanks guys

I had similar problems. Wouldn't re-start when warm until I pumped the bulb. Spent 2 months dealing with this.
The culprit was the low pressure fuel pumps on the side of the motor. Mine had three of them. Other motors may have more or less. $60 in parts and the motor was right as rain. Hope this helps.

That was on a 2001 OX66 225. Model number was VX225TLRZ. Like I said, its a reasonably cheap repair - if that's it.
