I am purchasing a bass boat in two weeks and I am torn between two of them. Boat A. 2009 Skeeter zx190 with a 2007 175hp Yamaha hpdi with “low low” hours. Owner doesn’t know the hours he said I am welcome to get the hours but he said it’s brought out 2-3 times a year and the boat looks like it for sure. Single axel trailer, older graphs, 80 maxxium trolling motor, hot foot. Boat looks AMAZING and he is asking $21,000. Boat B is a 2007 Skeeter 21I with a 250 Yamaha hpdi. Boat has ultrex, power poles, tandem axel with fiberglass fenders, 3 helix 9’s hummingbird 360 imaging, hotfoot, hydraulic jackplate, the whole 9 yards. He is asking $27,000. My concern is he told me the motor has been rebuilt within the last 2 years. He claims he babies it replaces filters, uses Yamaha lube, but I see A LOT of issues with this motor online from poor design quality. If you guys have any advice or have had these motors please let me know.
