Yamaha F6 Not Peeing

Hi All,

I have a 2004 F6 and I recently changed the impeller and she ran fine and pee'd well.

She has not seen any use except for periodic warm up and she recently stopped peeing.
When the engine is then turned off I can hear air either leaving or being sucked in to the pee hole for a few minutes.

I'm about to remove the lower unit to inspect the impeller but thought to ask here first ?

I ran her again a few mins later and now there is no water coming from the pee hole.

blow some compressed air up the Tell tail while running with water hooked up to motor
that may move things around if something is plugging things up

Thanks for the reply, it was peeing strong when fired up so would it still do that if there was a blockage ? I will give it a go anyway

I used a plastic WD40 pipe in the hole while running - worked a treat.

You probably had a small bug or spider living in pee hole....happens all the time...

I carry pieces of weed wacker line in my boat box and tackle box to run up the tell tail when it stops.
I get worried when I do not see a stream
