Is it supposed to do that?

2018 F50, I was running between fishing holes last night WOT and noticed the engine would only trim to a point then stop.

I believe it was right at where it goes from trim to tilt, is it supposed to do that?

Only thing I could think is it stops at the trim limit when above a certain throttle or the tilt part can't over come the force of the engine.

Still playing with engine height and I was seeing if it would blow out.

I am on the 3rd hole up now, thinking I may go to the fourth since it isn't blowing out, I run a 6'' setback.

Ran 30.2 on a 16' aluminum V hull right at 6000 rpm, old engine was a 1980 Evinrude 50 and the best I ever got with that engine was 27-28 so pretty happy with it.

At lower speeds it will trim all the way out of the water so the tilt trim works as it should just wondering if that is an actual feature of the engine.

It works fine when you aren't at full throttle.
