no spark on 3 cylinders 2003 sx250 ox66

I have lost spark on #2--3--and 6 cylinder Coils ohm out good.all the same. Trigger wires ohm out in spec.all the same. charging 13-14 volts.D 0OES THIS sound like a cdi issue. Just seems odd that its half the ignition. All thoughts appreciared

you need to measure voltage into and out of the CDI with the proper equipment and compare those readings to the specs.

And just be cause it reads good at idle does not mean it is OK at higher RPM or under load

And you still do not know what the problem was, but it is fixed

could have been a bad connection

I used a yamaha test harness on the stator wires and found it was only 67- 70 volts.i dont know y it was different last week.i must have been doing something wrong.this stator is producing 165 volts on both circuits. Idles great-runs great.also found after that the isolator for the #2 battery wasnt allowing charge to it and it was overheating the connector on the regulator.i jumped the battery positives together for a test and the regulator cooled and batterys charged up.ill replace the regulator next.
