I was taking the lower unit down on my 2003 Yamaha 250 ox66 when a piece of a plate fell out.after searching thru parts books it appears that it is the exhaust manifold coming apart..i was planning a trip this weekend.i can get one in time so can I run it without this piece?its about a 2x4 section.what will it do for harm.
