iam new to this forum but I have a 95 charger with Yamaha pro v 200 and I have taken it out many times but just recently developed a proble with getting on plane I will have it trimmed all the way down and it will idle for about 300 yards and won't want to plane out forever it seems then it finally does and runs good with ears on out of water runs good seems fine not sure if the problem is fuel delivery or not

Start with a compression test
make sure you have spark on all cylinders
make sure your fuel system is up to snuff
Clean the carbs and do a link-n-sync

Why do you need to fully trim the engine down to get out of the hole in the first place ? From neutral trim it down one setting, go 3/4 or full throttle, once combo is on plane set trim to neutral to ride parallel to water level. For that to happen distribute deck load evenly, engine must run 100% healthy.
