Hello, we went and looked at a 24 ft pontoon boat yesterday (plan to buy if engine checks and runs out good)
I need some info on the engine before we purchase it and have searched but with out much success
It is still winterized and we will wait until 1st of April to go, scope cylinders and do a compression check etc.
It still uses oil injection and through research, the pump being gear driven everyone seems to keep it
This engine is supposed to have a few lights, oil level low, oil pressure low and oil flow low (so says googe-fu)
Where would these be located? I would assume the console?
It has a new console with no lights on it?
I didnt ask seller about it due to just figuring this out last night
While looking through pictures it appears a wire or two may be loose at harness connector under engine cover
and you can see a sensor, so there must be a light or buzzer correct?
Where are the lights and buzzer supposed to be?
Best place to get a wire diagram for engine?
