Volvo Penta 4.3 - Trim

So my trim seems to self-trim. On Saturday i was crossing ther lake at 30 and all of a sudden my prop was out of the water. I had to trip the 50 red button to get trim control back. On the way back in a no wake zone, the trim started whining and I knew it was at it again. Shut the key off and regained control. I have notcied this in the last month and always though it may be me inadvertently leaving my thumb on the trim.

When I sit at the dock and trim down, I get a strange whirring sound (not trim sound) from trim on throttle. front trim button doesnt do it.

Do you think the trim pump is actually running, or is the water pressure pushing the drive upwards (aka the trim system not holding pressure)?
