Just bought a 1984 Bayliner with a 4 cylinder 2.1 Volvo Penta. I've heard good things about those engines. The guy said he had not taken her out in a couple of years but she fires right up. The Engine Runs great at idle but when you put it into gear a give her gas she sometimes dies out. Start it right back up and the same thing happens. It only happens sometimes and other times it works. Be at cruzing speed and you can feel it bogging down just a little hear and there. What could it be? Any suggestions would be great.
