volvo 275 outdrive

I have a volvo 4cl aq131 engine with a volvo 275 outdrive on a 19ft bowrider. I like the boat except 1 thing. I can't trim the motor up in drive.<br /> <br />Is there a way to modify or rebuild my 275 outdrive so that i can power trim?<br /> <br />I can't justify the price of a new outdrive since I only paid $2700 for the whole boat. I could live with this boat for a while if i could just trim up to get into shallow water.<br /> <br />Any ideas?<br /> <br />Thanks, Mark

Mark, Fact is there is no way to get what you want from a 275 outdrive. I would be very careful trying to trim the electrical mechanical tilt system you have. You could damage your system. Trust me, I have been a Volvo dealer a very long time. I have seen tilt damage by misuse of this system. Gene
