volvo duoprop outdrives

considering purchase of 1989 boat with volvo duoprop out drive with 5.7L volvo engine. can this outdrive work with a big block engine?

Your 5.7L engine is a strong V8. The outdrive will handle a 454 V8 but it sure loves gas. You can e-mail me if you have any other questions at jmontgom@gulftel.com
