Engine won’t turn, just beeps

Hello. My father in law has a 2000 Glastron with 5.0 I/o Volvo penta. It will not turn over, the engine just beeps. Acc works, blower works, etc, so I don’t think it’s battery. I have confirmed connections are tight. I replaced a fuse under the dash, kill switch appears in place and engine appears to be in neutral. Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you tried wiggling the shifter while trying to start the engine?
Sometimes the neutral safety switch is out of adjustment and will prevent the engine from turning over.

Pull the spark plugs out and try it. Will tell you more info on what’s going on. Hopefully there isn’t water in there.
