Engine takes 3-4 seconds to start normal ?

Quick question just bought a 1995 four Winns with a 5.0fi Volvo penta engine and volvo penta sx lower unit, when first putting boat in water it starts fine but after getting on the lake and ripping for abit I cut the engine to swim but then go to start it and it takes about 3-4 seconds of turning the key/cranking to start back up again, this Normal? She rips just fine after that

Fairly normal, try turning the key on for a few seconds to let the fuel pressure build before cranking. Sometimes its a sign of more to come. I know not the best answer but ya gotta start someplace.
