I have a Penta inboard outboard when i bought it (used) it started right up and every thing was fine. no problems,
Now when i hook the battery up and throw the switch on Battery 1 all the lights go on and the gauges light up,
But the key is not in the ignition... When i try to start it the engine does nothing does not turn over but in a few minutes both the positive and negative cables attached to the battery are hot to the touch.... what happened??.
