I'm thinking of adding a hot water shower to the transom of my boat. Obviously that means adding water heater one way or another. The boat is equipped with 4.3 GXi with closed cooling. There is already defroster added to the boat - T-joint made to coolant reserv tube and other end to engine block drain plug. Where from should I take the outlets to water heater, anything from the ones shown on pictures?

There are fitting blanks for this. On the circ pump and just below to starboard. I’ll see if I can find a picture to mark.

Should be similar on your gxi. You may have one of them right already perhaps. Not sure the t stat plug you have pictured is correct though. Have a look where I’ve pictured on starboard side on top of block. Think there is a sensor next to the fitting.

Ayuh,.... For the output, the one in yer 1st picture should work, as it's on the block side of the t-stat,.....

'n the return will go to the spot in yer last picture, the suction side of the circulating water pump,....
