Best shift cable for SX

Looking for recs on best shift cable for a Seastar /Teleflex CH2700 universal side mount controller to a 1995 Volvo Penta SX drive.

Previous cable is worn and sticks, need new top of line cable for salt water.

Prev cable is a 15ft and length seems correct, no tight bends required.

I don't want to bias with giving my previous cable part number as I do not know if it is correct for this setup from PO.

Also, if anyone knows of a better external mount controller, I don't really like this Teleflex with it's locking arm action.

Morse 3300 Supreme is the cable you will need. Your control box has to have that feature for safety so that it does not get put in gear by accident. Coast Guard, insurance and or lawyers .
If you have access to a boat salvage yard or an old marine repair shop you can probably find one of the earlier style controls.

I'm very happy with every Teleflex TFXtreme cable I've used. Currently have both throttle and shift cables.
