Acts like no fuel

when I 1st start out at the lake my vp 3.4 starts off great, after about 45 sec to a minute it will die. It acts like no fuel. It starts back up but takes a little while..again like it ran out of fuel.......then I can run all over the lake all day. No problem..

it doesn’t do this just sitting idle.

when I stop somewhere for about 10 minutes no problem after starting back up......but if It sits not running for 30 minutes or longer. Same issue......it will die and act like it’s not getting fuel.......

Can you clarify engine and model please ? Presuming you mean a 4.3 ?
