Trying to get power to boat after engine & outdrive reinstall

Im trying to get power to the key so I can adjust the trim rams and reconnect my outdrive. I have batteries hooked up and grounds attached to engine. I am still completing the install of the engine. What components are required to have battery flow to the key? Thanks

Ayuh,..... Ya shouldn't need the key,.....

Just hook up the trim pump to the battery, 'n hit the trim switch,......
