What would be an indication that I didn’t properly winterize my I/O motor and it possibly froze in the block somewhere? I watched several videos and decided to do it myself this last fall. Would it still run?

Yes, it would run
Attach hose, fire it up, then start looking for a leak. Check the oil and level, and if it starts coming up then you might have water coming in.
If you did it right, then there will be no issues

Begs the question.....how did you winterize?

If you opened all the drains, probed them, and followed the proceedure in the manual, you should be fine

Yes, the engine would most likely run, and often it is the first stage of denial that we see when someone has cracked their engine block.

Telltale signs would be milky motor oil, leaks coming from the engine block, water in the cylinders, hydro-locking.

Let us know how it goes. Is there something in particular that prompted this question?
