Not mine and checked with the Mod before posting here. I don't need it but someone else might

Found what appears to be a brand new VP-DP out drive at the Laurel County Sheriff's office seized property. It's being done by Ford auctions in Kentucky.

SERIAL #A880723 PRODUCT #21615545 TYPE 2.32.DPS-B

Terms, are on the auction site but the short of it is, there is a 10% buyers premium, and then 6% sales tax, and has to be picked up. See all terms at the site

https://bid.fordbrothersinc.com/m/l...894350?url=/m/view-auctions/catalog/id/20301/

I've bought things from them before

buy it, sell it on fleabay

Only asking 40 bucks, so 44 clams + tax. Probably a good one for an Ebay sale. It looks to have some paint scratches, but the exhaust port looks like it never saw carbon.

Auctioneers aren't always known as marine experts Now clapped out cop cars are a different story. :D

What happens that the sheriff seizes an unattached out drive? That’s the real question. Lol

It sold for $700.

It may not be a seizure, possibly surplus like the beat up cop cars.

I just checked the link. Someone got it for $700. Sweet deal. It takes money to make money.

$700 is cheap. Especially if local pick up. I paid $200 or there abouts for my drive to be shipped

Surplus loose out drives in Kentucky? I check govt auctions (not Kentucky) all the time and have never seen one, or any other boat parts individually ftm. I suppose the govt wastes much less sometimes. $700 for it seems like a sweet deal. Could sell for 2k plus if it’s what advertised.

My guess is it was stolen from a dealer or someone. Didn't find a stolen report, but may also not looked very hard :noidea:
I've bought from these guys before, so get emails
