Does anyone know the part number for idle air control valve for 5.7GSI PWTR 3843750 is not the same as original and doesn’t fit Thanks

Unable to say without a doubt, but think its the same as
Merc 805224A1 this is a kit with gasket
Walker 215-1026
BWD 21775 and Felpro gasket 17852

Take the one you have and see if a local parts store was the Walker or BWD

If it turns out to be correct, please confirm

Ok I got the right one Sierra 18-7704 I took measurement is less than 1.125 and I nstalled instructions say to run vehicle over 40 mph does this apply or do I just rev the engine? Engine is 1999

Have not seen anyone mention about running over 40 mph or other speed, so have no clue

That was what instructions that came with it said I put new valve in and it was idling at 2000 rpm took out changed pintle distance to match old one same thing cleaned old one reinstalled idle still varying but stays close to 1000 rpm instead of 650 very hard to set timing otherwise runs great

If you have one which the distance can be adjusted, that is another new thing I have not seen.
